What started as a light conversation in the Business Development team has led to a number of the Linnworks staff sporting some rather dashing facial hair! 8 of the Linnworks team have undertaken the challenge to raise money for men's mental health, cancer and men's fitness. Every one of the team have completed the task of not shaving their mo' for the month, but I think we can agree, some have grown much more impressive moustaches than others.

Linnworks expands to include Amazon Mexico

Following a recent request on our User Voice account, the Linnworks development team is excited to reveal its newest channel integration, Amazon Mexico. eCommerce in Mexico grew by 30% this year and is expected to continue growing at that rate for at least the next 3 years, while only accounting for 1.5% of all retail ($6 Billion).

We recently sat down with listing and branding experts Frooition to look at some of the best ways you can optimise your listings, make sure you check out that article here. In addtion to that advice, making sure you have your listing set up in the ‘Black Friday Deals’ area of the marketplaces is a crucial way to driving traffic and increasing your sales.

Also, try offering bundles! This is a tip I picked up from Chris at Tamebay who thinks the biggest selling items this festive period will be bundles and hampers, because who doesn’t love a hamper at Christmas right?

Linnworks extend support hours over the busy festive period

This is why we are happy to announce that throughout December we will be extending our regular support hours of 24 hours a day, five days a week, to include the weekend. Linn Academy 2015 – Highlights Video

Last week, we hosted our 3rd annual Linn Academy event. Inviting over 200 Linnworks users over 2 days across 2 stunning venues. The Linnworks team have never before had a chance to meet face-to-face with so many Linnworks customers.

Starting off at the Microsoft HQ in Reading and concluding at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester, the Linnworks team welcomed 98/130 respectively of the Linnworks community to the most momentous events in the company’s history.

Linnworks announce ShipStation integration

Linnworks are excited to announce the launch of our brand new ShipStation integration. The new functionality allows our American customers to enjoy the same number of shipping options our UK customers have with a simple integration.

The Shipstation integration is the first new integration developed specifically for Linnworks.net, this announcement is the first of many so keep an eye out for upcoming integrations with new channels and shipping services.

User Spotlight: The Glitterstore

Back in 2008, Kareen Buttle was searching for glitter cosmetic products online. Her daughter had an upcoming dance show she was performing in, and Kareen needed some specific makeup for her to wear on stage. Struggling to find the precise product she needed, Kareen hit upon an idea. If she was having a tough time, other parents must be too. And once she’d sourced the right products after a meticulous search, she decided to buy up some additional stock and resell it on eBay. She made some space in the kitchen cupboards for boxes of glitter pots, and when the orders started rolling in online, she realised she’d struck a little bit of gold – and ‘Glitterstore’ was born.
